We’re thrilled to be finalists for the 2012 Echoing Green Fellowship!
The 38 ventures selected as finalists this year represent approximately 1% of the original pool of applicants from around the world. Talk about tough competition! This year’s crop of finalists also includes two other women-led ventures from Pakistan, Hosh media and Justice Project Pakistan. By the end of the process, Echoing Green will have narrowed over 3500 applications to 12-20 Fellowships.
Echoing Green is one of the very few organisations that identifies and invests solely in promising early-stage social entrepreneurs and social change visionaries. Through its two-year fellowship program, it provides stipends of up to $90,000 plus access to one-to-one counselling, technical support and valuable networking opportunities throughout the EG ecosystem to help organisations grow.
Past EG Fellows comprise of an impressive group of changemakers such as Teach for America founder Wendy Kopp, creator of the Ella Baker Centre for Human Rights, Van Jones, and College Summit founder, JB Scramm, to name a few.
We’re excited to be flying to NYC for the final round of interviews (May 10th to 12th) and meeting the other finalists. Big thanks to all of you who have rooted for us! Wish us luck for the final rounds!
