Another fashionably fabulous, socially-conscious woman has joined the cohort of BLISS ambassadors. Diana Ryall is our 10th ambassador in Sydney, Australia.
Diana is bit of a rockstar!
She is one of Australia’s leading businesswomen, a well-known mentor for women, and a breast cancer survivor. She is passionate about inspiring leadership and the overall success of women.
A pioneer for women in senior management, Diana was the Managing Director at Apple Computer Australia, before establishing her own training and consulting firm, Xplore for Success. The Xplore programs have challenged over 5000 women and men since 2002 in organisations such as American Express, CBA, Deloitte, Dept. of Commerce, Centrelink, GHD, Luxottica, KPMG and NAB.
Previously, Diana was also the Vice President of Chief Executive Women, providing senior women with further skills in their career development. She is one of the authors of the CEO Kit, which has helped over 140 companies provide pragmatic ways to measure gender diversity initiatives. She is currently the Deputy Chair of the Board of Dress for Success Sydney, which supports disadvantaged women in their quest for self-sufficiency.
In 2010 she was awarded membership of the Order of Australia, the highest civil recognition for outstanding achievement and service. She is a sought after speaker on the topic of business leadership and women in the workforce, and also speaks regulary for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. You can read a great interview with her here.
Well, that’s quite a list – Diana and her work inspire us! And why did she choose to become a BLISS ambassador? In Diana’s words:
I am passionate about BLISS bags! They are beautiful and the work supports women to build their skills and their income to give them a better life. I love to support women entrepreneurs who are building social capital in their community.
